A man once saw a butterfly working its way out of its cocoon, in
order to re-enter the world as a beautiful new being. Full of pity, he
took out his pocket knife and carefully cut through the tissue. He then
took the animal in his hands and threw it high up in the air. To his
complete amazement, the helpless creature fluttered back down to the
ground, not able to fly. He had robbed this animal of the essential
exercises needed to make it fly, albeit completely unintentionally.
